Albertine Sisters Novices on a mountain hike
Novices on a mountain hike

The religious vocation of an Albertine sister is realized in community. A sister becomes a full member of the Albertine family upon taking perpetual vows. Once she takes it, she becomes coresponsible for the fraternity, which in turn takes responsibility for the sister.

“In my thoughts about God and the future I found happiness and peace
that I had been looking for in vain in my life.”
-Saint Brother Albert

The Albertine fraternity is united by:

• Evangelical love

• Participation in liturgy especially the Eucharist

• Communal prayer

• Fulfilling the Albertine mission

• Sharing spiritual and material goods

• Atmosphere of peace, unity, kindness and amiability

• Loyalty to the Congregation mission and law

“Jesus always Jesus with me. Oh, how I love Him,
how I yearn for Him, how I waste away and thirst. He alone always.”
-Blessed Sister Bernardina
